A Member’s personal data will be handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

We currently collect and process the following information:

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by the Member for one of the following reasons:

No personal data is shared with any 3rd party. ​

Your information is securely stored on one computer kept locked with the charity secretary. We keep email addresses and physical addresses only for the time you are a subscriber. When you end your subscription we will then dispose of your information and you be deleted from the database.

If you have any concerns about our use of your personal information, you can make a complaint to BGE at admin@boltons.org.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how we have used your data.

Members should be aware of some additional reasons for processing personal information. Examples of this are:

3.2.2 Managing finances (including Key deposits) relating to the Gardens.
